I have one of these. It's a great idea but poorly made. The lock button doesn't lock very well and the battery door doesn't either. Batteries will always fall out during use unless you duct tape it shut.

My chain stitch does not seem to be catching on the bottom so i am not getting any stitch and i went back and started the whole set up from scratch

Can i use it to sew buttons?

I do not get how the top thread just 'picks up' the bottom thread - they are not close to each other at all. Makes no sense - is not working when I try it not that I expected it to. very confused

This helps a lot. Now I gotta test see if can stitch my jeans fabrics. I think I got the exact machine you have. The foot pedal cord is way too short I have to use a step up stool to raise it up

After doing all the steps , the machine isn’t stitching still though 😢

My worst investment ever even with the instructions I can’t get anything done

Mines finally almost working, my last glitch is as it is stitching midway through it tangles the string underneath where the needle goes where it makes the chain under the fabric and gets knotted up. Any suggestions anyone!? I’ve been trying for two days to get this thing on track and all is working, but this is happening. Which ruins my project bc I can’t get string out to tie off the end before it unravels

One piece of information that you could add, which was in my set of instructions for this kind of machine, was that if you want the stitches to be further apart, you can pull the fabric through from the other side (as opposed to feeding it at the front), the faster you pull, the further apart the stitches will be. Otherwise amazing video. Thank you so much

I bought this machine 4 years ago and I was disappointed when I tried it and didn't work well. When I saw this video I was encouraged to try it again, it worked but the thread is not well all the way. Thank you

May I ask what needle size I could use for this device? Unfortunately, I broke mine. I've tried organ needle #14 and #16 but they seem too long... or maybe I'm not using them properly?
